Memorial Day post #2 ...

This is the second of three videos I am posting regarding Memorial Day where we honor and remember those who gave their life in the service to our country.

“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.” (Franklin D. Roosevelt)

Mother's Day - thinking of you mom...

“A mother is clothed with strength and dignity, laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks her words are wise and she gives instructions with kindness.” – Proverbs

Remember those who paid the price ...

Memorial Day is later this month, so I'm going to post a few videos that will help us to remember what this is all about. Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) is a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who had died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

“We do not know one promise these men made, one pledge they gave, one word they spoke; but we do know they summed up and perfected, by one supreme act, the highest virtues of men and citizens. For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.” —James A. Garfield
